Hi chaps, Can anyone help me source a website that contains latest film's in VOB format? I have a very very quick connection in work. Suggestions/links extremely welcome.
I intend to use IFO edit to create new IFO's for same should i get em!

All p2p fileshare progs such as DC++ (Direct Connect) will ban ppl if sharing VOB files and this is the same wherever you go...
So I would concur with baabaa by saying I'd be careful about what you ask for , cos a ban would seem harsh but you have in essence asked for Piracy infomation.

I Understand what both BaaBaa (nice sheep) and Herbsman (nice er.. Herb) were saying. However, in no way was ALG0023 mentioning or hinting at video piracy. What in fact he could be asking, is whether or not it is possible to download a VOB movie from a website (not p2p). This could be in the form of purchasing the movie over the internet.
AlG0023: To be honest, i dont know of a facility available to do this. However, there could be one there!

I may have been a little premature (never happened before, must be my age) but it said latest films - now that could mean latest releases or latest releases to be available on the internet.
Only the poster could clarify that - but good point Oriphus, there could be a site that contains legitimate vobs.....

OK , then I suggest that is a question posed back at ALG0023...
"Are you looking to purchase films via d/l ALG0023 " ?
By the way I dont think any site out there allows VOB d/l because they like the file to disappear off your PC after 48hrs of rental. As disney are perhaps about to do (as stated in last months Afterdawn newsletter) , which is sell disposable DVDs
This is as far as I know to date...

Good discussion going on about the disney saga -they could put them on rw's - period of time ifo's get corrupted - then you could format and re-use..

Hi Chaps,
I guess i was looking for a cheap and nasty way to obtain latest VOBS from reliable sources. Apologies again for under-estimating/compromising the integrity of this forum. Will not happen again. I am interested in this disney Issue and will read said newsletter to find out more right now. What i though was nice was a french site whereby one could download dolby digital VOB intros demonstrating the magnificance of 5.1 channel surround to accompany ripped DVD's. Thats the kind of thing i'm after, Is this acceptable?

Yes , I have d/l some VOB trailers myself
(It was from a french web site aswell)
My memory lets me down to recollect where exactly I found them.
If it comes to it , I can let you d/l them off me cos they were freebies for everyone so..
