hi i was wondering if sony will pay the 9.7 million dollars of lawsuit to immersion, and does anyone think that they will wait until the last second before the PS3 comes out.

If a judge say they got to pay they have no choice but to pay it, 9.7 million not that much to a mult-Billion corp.

I hate when people try to live off someone when they get big, you might as well call them some gold diggin brods . whats the story on this , did sony have a deal with the at first then after they blew up they got mad and wanted more money . I would like to here both sides of the story .

Well it doesn't affect the PS3 anymore. They have no vibrate function in PS3 controllers. I'm not sure about the story but Sony not the bad guy. Microsoft also got a lawsuit from them but they settled. Sony however wanted to fight it. Basically Immersion has the patent for the rumble feature that is in tune with in game events. So lots of companies have settled with them so they can continue using it. Not sure if Sony will. But this is nothing new. Sort of similar to the Apple/Creative suit except with less countersuits. But Sony should have just settled out of court. Much easier.
