xbox 360 can it be softmoded yet ?

ive soft moded my xbox its great
so i been looking at xbox 360 it looks great apart from a few bugs
so if i get my self one of these great consles can i soft mod it ?
i like to get it to play a few back ups with out the chip

so is it possable yet?

This isn't really the right forum...

Anyway, at this point in time, the answer is sort of. You can play back-ups using a firmware hack, but no homebrew or anything. If you don't use a chip, you'd at least need a way of connecting the drive to your PC.

Also, the back-ups must be on dual layer DVDs since the security sector needs to be on the second layer for the game for run. The firmware hacks can't run unsigned code, which is why you need it.

i was a bit confused were to post this i picked here because
it is xbox and its software i belive
anyways do you think we will get it softmod soon or in like a year?

Probably. Anything is possible it's just a matter of time. You can mod Halo 2 new maps as of now but like Venom5880 said, no homebrew applications or ect.

thats what i was thinking
just a matter of time
for all we know someone could be working on it right now
its basicly just a pc like xbox
i have heard doe that mircosoft is planing on stoping the bug so its got to have been fixed in the 360
but then we would find a new way around it

example link the hard drive to a pc to install a softmod
i guess the hackers are the unstopable
