I have DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD, and DVD Shrink. I tried AnyDVD with DVD Shrink first, that came up a error, so I used DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD, got about half way and restarted my pc, after that never got to the winows loading screen. So i reinstalled my pc and tried anydvd's ripper and that did the same thing but formated my pc. I reinstalled windows for the 3rd time now, and im tired of reinstalling windows. What is the best way to burn this movie without having this same problem again?

devil420,
Welcome to the forum. What OS are you using and did you d/l DirectX from the Microsoft site.
Also Did you do a Clean Install( full format of the Computer prior to install of the OS).
You also need to D/L a free registry cleaner first and see if there are any conflicts in the registry. If there are then clean them up as that can cause a computer to re-start.
Are all of the fans in the computer operating properly as heat can cause a computer to re-start?
Lets start w/ the above first and go from there

Running Xp pro SP1. I downloaded direct x. I did a clean install. I was using regristry mechanic with no errors. The fans are working fine, for some reason i think somehow a virus got onto the disc.

Microsoft says "Support for Sysytems running XP with SP1 will no longer be supported after October 16th"...besides, as wonky as XP can be, keeping your service packs up to date and critical updates installed does fix a number of problems...and, not being supported under SP1, you won't be able to download simple things like DirectX.
