Hi, I know ther are loads of threads about this but I have done everything exactly as mentioned and even with an original copy of a game it still says "ps2 game cannot be read" in blue letters after I complete the steps in the tutorials.

Any ideas?

Turns out I can run the original retail discs after some practice with the slide tool. It seems my problems lie with my own burns and media brand. I'm using datawrite although it says it has been optimised for console it seem maybe verbatim may be better. Also my burner is very old, will that contribute to problems?

When I'm running the game it just stops and starts and is really slow.

Are there any mac users that have succes with swap magic?

Its the media. Datawrite are really crap. Use Verbatim, RITEK or Taiyo
