SoftMod without Disk(Help me please)

OK, this xbox ive got is from a friend, and he softmodded it before. So i have all the files backed up. The reason its still not softmodded is because it messed up and wouldnt go past the Big green "X" then Medium "Xbox" under that and tiny white "microsoft" under that. The LED light flashed red, green, orangish, and then black(just basically didnt light up). so i used http://www.afterdawn.com/thread_view/332766 tutorial to fix it to stock condition. now i have ALL the files already backed up. So I just need to know where to put what files. It was modded with the Splinter Cell save. anyone who can help, thank you!
