i have a hitachi drive i flashed with OPA-XTREME-HITACHI-7IN1-V2_1 but im not sure if i did it correctly. it plays dvds, havent burned a succesful dvd yet (crappy burner and crappy media), and i have no originals to try with. when flashing it took me through the 9 steps, but only said "done" after the first step, maybe thats normal. afterword it said flash was 100 and i could restart the computer, but under that it gave three lines of "access denied" (maybe thats normal as well)

any help would be appreciated, about to go buy a pioneer 111d and some verbs.

Sounds like it worked. With a bad flash it's not supposed to be able to read anything. Once it says 100% it's done.

i just 2 wired my hitachi to get windows to see it now i am triing to flash with the 7.1 firmware but not sure how can anyone help please.this is my friends i have the samsung drive thank god.i get to an ms dos burt not sure what to type in for commands i guess to find the flash files and execute them.

i got that part fixed now i burned games and i get a dirty disk or unrecognized disk when it tries to play on my hitachi drive.the games will play on my other samsung drive .bad flash?said 100 percent done no errors
