My WinRAR trial thing ran out but it seems that it still works at extracting and unpacking and all that nice stuff, but the last few times Ive tried to backup a game it seems it loads fine and then freezes before anything starts, so Is this a bit of bad luck or bad media?(fujifilmdvd+R) or a WinRAR problem?

Doubt its WinRAR, more likely a media issue. Better off burning with good quality DVD-R like Verbatim or RITEK.

And if you use Google, you can find serials etc for popular programs like WinRAR very easily.

I thought it might be that, but about the same thing happened when I tried to backup a ps1 game on cd
