16:9 to 4:3 conversion help needed

I am using Final Cut Pro 5. Everything was shot in 16:9. The client wants the footage 4:3 proper ratio WITHOUT A LETTERBOX but it is okay to have the sides cut off. They want the 16:9 ratio also which I have no problem with supplying.

Is there any drag and drop filter that can be applied to the clip to get what I need for the 4:3 resize or do I have to go into the "motion" tab and resize/distort and/or reposition each clip individually?
