i am thinking of buying a BenQ dw1650 is this a good burner for 360 games or is the pionner the best

what kind of xbox360 drive u have

with the new birdy flasher for the xbox360 hitachi drives, burned discs wont need bitsetting, meaning any dl dvd burner should work. i think the only reason ppl say certain pioneers are good is because they support bitsetting, making the disc a readable dvd-rom disc rather than a DVD-R disc.

Pioneer 111D is still the best even though there are mediafixes on new FWs.

but yeah Benq ranks up thre with Pionneer but its not the best in this case

Lot of ppl have been complaining about the nec's. The new 360 firmware takes care of the bitsetting problems, but some ppl been saying they're just plain-old bad burns.

Your best bet.... just try 1 burn. If it plays fine then you're good to go. I'd suggest using Verb.'s.
