Hey i connected my 360 to my pci card which is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815124022

but it wont dectect my xbox so then i thought oh yeah i have to turn off raid i tried doing it with my bios (sony vaio) but had no idea where to go so can someone help me out plz I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF FLASHING!

there isnt raid on that card, so i dont know why it wouldnt detect man.

the specifications of your pci sata card shows that its 100% compatible..

wat result do u get when u type the bcking up command??(different results show different settings needed)

and wat chipset is ur pc using???(u need the edit your mtkflash.bin file for all non supported chipsets)

oh well my pc doesnt have a sata chipset thats why i had to buy the card and when i type in the command it give me the option u noe 1,2 i choose the approite one and it just says Port if0, master/slave: a0 and freezes and should i turn off raid because i cant find out how to

if it freezez,, that means that sata did not detect the dvd drive

disable raid from BIOS or try from windows,
check the sata connection aswell frm bios or the windows,
make sure u have edited the file mtkflash.bin according to the pci sata card....

somewhere u r missing a setting..

try mtkflash(space)r(space)/m(space)/sata(space)orig.bin

hey man to get to you bios turn on your computer and as soon as it kicks on hit f2... thats what i did

U will actually have to read the first page while switchin on the pc where somwhere in the bottom they write

press del(delete)
or
press f2
or
press f12
or
press f8

for bios setup wizard

different pc has different key which u can know from the boot page..

Oh thansk for lal yr help but all i had to do it turn on the xbox then quickly plug the sata cable into the pci sata card and bob your uncle!
