Hi Everyone

I have a Slim ps2 scph 75001, the machine is NTSC and is modded, but i live in the UK. ( i honestly dont know the chip make) it plays both PAL and NTSC Backups faultlessly. but when i first started to try and use my action replay MAX and choose a game and loaded the cheats it would just say "please insert a ps2 dvd", so i read up on the net and found out i have to disable my sensores using tape, which i did and that stopped the message.

But NOW what happens is that it lets choose the game, activate the cheats press start swap the disk with my backup, i press x , it says it launching the game on the black screen you get with the Action Replay MAx logo , but then THATS IT, nada , nothing it just stops.

can anyone help or offer any suggestion( and stop cheating is not one of them lol lol ) so guys ay ideas or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
