psx2 slim
i need to double click the reset button to play psx1 games

and i want to know if something is wrong with it

it cant read psx1 memorycards (is like i didnt inserted it!)
but in some games like ff7 seems the psx2 reads as if it is empty but is almost full i didnt save because i m afraid it will corrupt
the data .


about the psx2 games which cd i should use ?
somebody told me i should use golden or silver colored cds
but shouldn use blue (sony)or lila cds(like ridata cds)becuase it will damage the len .

For modchip "messiah" is necessary tap twice the reset button, but this chip is 4 or 5 years old.
Tap twice reset button, and hold down the "circle" button untill the message "sony computer entertainment" fades out, release it and wait.
About the memory card, make sure it is original (sony), or else when you try to save the console shows a message ordering you to format it.
Remember that a ps2 memory card doesn´t work with psx games.

For discs, the only crap i met was Memorex and Platinum, i have more than 10 brands and all work fine, but my opinionfor the best is TDK.
