I'm a rank newb to this, so i will state the issue as specifically as I can..)

By some magic, I took some camcorder footage and made what I think is a DVD using adobe premiere. The Video_TS file is listed on my DVD+RW disc. When I play this disc using my Playstation2, it plays perfectly(video+audio).

Now, this disc has the problem of not playing the audio portion in any other player(I've tried my Toshiba Satellite laptop, Devon-1600*advertising "PCM audio technology / DVD audio"*, Nor in the very player that burned the disc: TDK DVDRW420N!)

I also have a VCD and a SVCD of the same avi that I had in premiere. It was a while ago; I'm almost positive that I rendered them from the original. My computer will not play either of them at all. On the SVCD disc in the MPEG2 folder, is a file named AVSEQ01 represented with a Windows Media Player icon. Trying to open this file with Media Player results with this error: "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class". <--I'm obviously searching blind and Way off the path here, ie: in need of some help)

Also, trying to open any Video_TS files on my DVD+RW burn using VirtualDub results in "MPEG Import Filter:pack synchronization error(S)". No files are listed in Video_TS while the parameter "files of type" is set to "all usable types" when using VirtualDub to "open video file".

I *might* still have the files and footage that I used to make the DVD scattered about; if so i could attempt to rebuild the thing in adobe and do another render...(never never should have deleted the avi from desktop). It took 10.5 hours the first time.

So..is there a way to take what I have and make a DVD that plays BOTH audio and video on Some DVD player other than PS2?

THANKS !!!

The SVCD and VCD were prolly copies from the DVD. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? )
This DVD plays only in PS2. Does that indicate anything useful that I could use to fix the issue? Is there a piece of info that im evidentally ignorant of?) I don't need the entire lesson..just a pointer)

Thanks again for any assistance.
