I've been looking for some type of chart or reference between the different types of game backups (IE: Rips Vs Full DVDs, etc...)

I'd like to know what to look for when downloading torrents for the games and I want to make sure I'm getting complete copies of the originals, not rips with content left out.

Thanks,
J8son

well if the original Game is DVD5 then you are usually getting full Gams but if it is a DVD9 then you are probably getting ripped versions they do this because the xbox is really picky with DL DVD-/+R Disc's so they make it to where you are able to burn it to a DVD5.....

As I'm sure you probably know, when downloading torrents people aren't always as detailed with the contents description as they should be. Most the time your lucky if they even put the words "Full" or "Rip" in the title.

I've been told that if it doesn't clearly then it's usually a 1:1 copy. I just like to iron that out before hand because I'd don't like to waste time downloading rips.

Is there any way to check the releases against something else to ensure they are complete, 1:1 copies (after the fact if necessary).

For me, content is everything (well the game is important to lol).

Any links to your site you were talking about? I might like to check it out. If you can't provide links here then a name will do ;)

Backup games YOURSELF that you legally own.
This site DOES NOT condone piracy.
Backup your OWN originals rather than download illegal ones,
Then you wont have any problems.

Ah! But you see I'm of course only downloading torrents of games I already own. I'm just trying to "refine" my backup methods.

So you see, you have me all wrong <wink> :)
