I got this question about movie factory 3.0.I use windows movie maker 2.0 to custom my wedding but it doesn't have main title screen like in a DVD movie you buy so i load it to movie factory and even thou it's 1.3GB big when i load it it goes to 1.3 to 6.1GB why is that even if i tried not to use windows movie maker 2.0 it still is way over the space for a 4.3 dvd disk can anyone help or explain how to get through this problem ?

Can you please explain what you want to do?
Is this pictures or a wedding movie?
I am a bit lost reading your post. Have you still got the originals Either the pictures or the unedited miniDV tapes from your camcorder?

Hey croft94,

I'm guessing your home video clip is in AVI format.
DVDs use the MPEG-2 format, so you will need to encode your home video clip into MPEG-2 before authoring.

I think Ulead Movie Factory does the encoding and authoring all for you.

I suggest you open "Project Settings" and untick "Do not convert compliant MPEG files", you will see the 6.1 GB estimated output size drop down depending on your MPEG settings.

Note: Encoding does take some time to complete.

Yes, you'll need to make your video DVD Compliant.

In Ulead Movie Factory, if u click on project settings and untick "Do not convert compliant MPEG files", and select your MPEG settings (there are preset settings called "high quality","good quality", "standard play" and "long play") it will convert it for you and hopefully it'll fit a DVD Disc. ;)
