Hey i just brought a pioneer 111D from the most awsome place ever (newegg) and i was wandering to burn backups do i have to upgrade the fw? Where can i get that firmware and also do i have to mess with the setting or can i just burn the pre-patched xbox 360 game using clone cd?
Out of the box the firmware is 1.09 and I'm not sure if that firmware automatically burns as a rom. The latest is 1.23 and you can download it right from Pioneers web site.
Scroll down and get the DVR-111D firmware (as long as that's what you have). It's actually now 1.29, not 1.23. Just download it (it's small) and double click.
