Can someone tell me how to re-install my software on my new Cpu. I tried to contat 123 studios to no avail. I just cannot active the software online... i keep getting *error* 7 the alloted number of acitivation has been use for this lisence. I have use it on my old CPu and that it...

Mushroom,
Hate to tell you but 123 is out of business and you can not activate it anymore. I really suggest you start using the free programs as they were better to start w/.

Use Ripit4Me to rip the DVD to HD and then use Shrink to compress the DVD to HD and you can then use DVDDecrypter or Imgburn to burn it. All of the above are free.

i was told the activations are working again..by a couple of newbies that got reactivated..give it a try and let me know..

USE THIS TO SUMMIT A TICKET TO HAVE THEM TO RESET YOUR ACTIVATIONS
YOU MUST SUMMIT YOUR Email, (the e-mail you used when you registered)Customer ID, License ID or Invoice No. along with your Password.
And proof of purchase like a receipt and a photo copy of the box and program cd disk.
And where you bought the program.

I cant prove this but I believe i read somewere that if you copy the executables from the registered version on 1 pc to the new pc it will work. again i cant prove that in anyway. however the way ireland said has been around for a while and seems to work for people.

3 files are needed and the program must be activated first for it to work,on the next round.then copy the files..
dvdxrescue.exe
platinum.exe
xpress.exe
