Along with the extras, there are two versions of the film. There is the main version and there is a sing-along version. One of them will have to be removed.

Do you already have the disc ripped to your HD? Are you using DVD Shrink?

OK, this is what you can do. Make sure you have AnyDVD running since HSM has the RipGuard protection on it. Open up DVD Shrink and choose open disc. You'll notice that for the main movie, it says that it's 3 hours and 15 minutes long. Well, there are actually two seperate movies there. Click + to reveal them both. Title 1,2 is the main movie and Title 19 is the sing-along version. You can insert a still image for either one of those. After doing that, you should get pretty good compression for the rest of the disc. Keep in mind though that there will only be one version of the movie on the disc, not both.

You can also use PgcEdit to blank any VTS you wish and then process with FixVTS.

I got the same message about not enough disk space. I backed up everything onto the harddrive even though the message in shrink ask if you want to continue since size was too big. I just ran shrink again to compress the initial image and get EVERYTHING onto 1 disk, both movies and all.

nycdude - That's odd that you were able to do that, but I could only imagine how horrible the compression is.

I watched it on a non HD TV and don't think the picture is too bad. May be worse on a nice new LCD or plasma set. ;)
I read that shrink displays the message because it possibly does not compress the audio tracks well for musicals.
