sometimes when i play dvds on my ps2 it says unable to read disk whats the deal with that its not the disk cause when i wacth the same dvd on my dvd player it worked fine. how came it doesnt work fine on my ps2?

Many people make that incorrect assumption. Your ps2 is made to play games first, dvd movies are secondary. So, if there is anything wrong with the disc, your ps2 won't play it, but it still might work in your DVD player. 1 thing you could try is cleaning your ps2 laser lens.
