Hi all,
I'm new to digital camcorders, but not to digital photography. I'm going to Europe for a month next year on my bike with some friends and I'm looking for the best camcorder that will take great (primarily outdoor) videos. Obviously size, video quality, and medium are some of my main concerns. Not to mention any possibly vibrations that I may have to deal with.
I have a dedicated tank mount for a camcorder, and have seen samples of how stable a picture can be with this mount. My biggest concern is HD vs digital tape and what vibration may do to the system. If anyone has any suggestions on what they have found that works in a similar situation, I'd really appreciate it.
