Was a waste of time . Everyone tells me to stop buying those cheap Windata disc from Microcenter.I felt Bad so I purchased soem Ridata 50 pack for 22.99 from Microcenter.None of my programs would read disc.Took them back .Placed the bad when in the bottom of the pile.Exchanged them for what I know is the real deal .The cheap Windata 50 8x for 9.99 . Yeah once in awhile I get a bad disc but thats life . I don't feel so bad when I run into some new code .Bottom line stick with what you know .

Strange...
My Plextor 716-A has burned about 100 of those 16x Ritek F-1's without a problem (at 8x) & they play fine in both of my DVD players. Once I burned one at 16x by mistake & it played back flawlessly. Must be the firmware in your burner. If Windata (I'll never buy it) works in your drive then fine. I'll stick with TY, Sony then Ritek in that order. I've got 150 of those Ritek -R DVD's to go through before I go back to Sony or TY. Think I bought the last two 100 packs at my local Houston area Microcenter as there was none on the shelf just the Ritek +R DL's & the 52x Ritek CDR's available.
