hiya

please can you help me unlock this phone

it is a nokia 6233 and was bought in the Uk and is locked to vodafone
the serial number is 359728006501319

hoping that is all you need

Hi
BB5 type phones such as 6280, 6630, 6681, 6682 or
any N-Series phones,N-70, N-90 ect. or Tracfones
can not be unlocked by this method for use with
another Network. Not yet.

Only the original service provider can unlock them.

BB5 Models include : 3250 5500 6125 6126 6131 6233
6234 6136 6260 6270 6280 6630 6680 6681 6682 7370

shame i cant get through to them, infact its a shame the guy i was ordering the phone on sent me a locked one, i told him why i needed and unlocked one!

lets hope that when i get through they will unlock it for me or it is going back!

well i have finally got through to vodafone and they are sending me the unlocking code but it might take up to 2 weeks!

its all a bit difficult when you live in france but live a little bit in england too! still its all sorted now!

Thanks for the reply.
Be careful. You only have three tries. It will hard-lock.
I do not know if they will tell you to remove the SIM but follow their instructions.

Make sure battery is charged.
Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #
