anyone playing Siren 2 (PAL) on an NTSC PS2?

Just bought a copy of Siren 2 as well as Swap Magic 3.6 with slidecardpro only to find that Swap Magic will not boot the PAL version of this game. I get the "not a valid ps2 disc" error every time. What do I try next? Cdloader? Mod chip? Is there another boot disc that might do the trick?

Did you change the video mode to PAL on swapmagic? Is it oringnal or backup?

I've tried to boot the game in all three available modes-- normal, NTSC, and PAL but unfortunately it's "not a valid ps2 disc" every time. It is an original brand new copy of Siren 2. Others have also reported that Swap Magic won't boot this game, so it seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

Its too big to load with Swap Magic.
You'll need to make a backup of it, and rebuild the game to make it smaller. This was covered when the game 1st came out. Do a search in the PS2 DVD Discussion forum, there's a lengthy topic on it & it'll help you out.

Thanks ace1uk-- I did search for a thread on Siren 2 before I posted this but for some reason the google search engine doesn't turn up that thread. I was able to find it using the traditional forum search. Thanks again
