All I needed with this movie was DVDshrink or I even tried DVDdecrypter with no problems. Why are some new movies harder to decrypt than others? I know the Sony label are hard to decrypt sometimes, not sure who did the King Kong movie.
I figured with a big time movie like King Kong I would need extra help with it but to my surprise had no problems with this movie.

Hi ThadiasJ
Yes this was an easy one to do but hell on compression. I think the best I got on a single layer doing movie and menu only was maybe 51%.

Just depends on who releases the movie. Sony & Disney usually have the newer stuff on them.

It sometimes amazes me what movies get the big protection and what does not. KK was an easy one to do also the last Star Wars yet movies like Silent Hill give everyone a headache......go figure :)

I didn't care much about the compression. I knew I would probably have to split a movie of this size anyway. The only problem is finding where to split the movie. I hate to split a movie during a intense scene.
You're right about Star Wars. I had no problems with thoes either. You would have thought with Star Wars there would be all kinds of protection, but Star Wars was another movie I had to split because of it's size.
