I have downloaded Craxtion Several times and have not found an .exe file yet. None of the files in the folder I downloaded will open. I know I am missing something. Can someone help me? Please be specific, because I have tried everything.

That is where I downloaded it from. How did you open it after you downloaded it. Which file? is there something specific that you have to do?

This may be over and done with, but the file you download is ISOCraxtionv21.rar.
.rar is sort of like a .zip file, you need a program to un-rar it. Just search the net you'll find it.
How many people even know where Nova Scotia is?

Well I've just downloaded it from the above site, un rar the file using winrar, and everything is there.
So if that doesn't work for you then yes something weird is going on, might want to call scooby doo and his gang to investigate.
Maybe try using cpxmenux if you're trying to create multi-game backups.
If you're interested in patching, I can't help I've been lucky enough to to need to.

patching can be done with craxtion, very nicely i might add. have patched many games myself and they all run off the hard drive afterwards. the patcher is the only thing under the tools menu, run the patcher and select the default.xbe to patch, then recopy to hard drive on xbox.
a place to download craxtion in .rar format is through irc

For the Craxtion, there should be a solution file.
Download the solution file and open it. Once you open the file, read the " Read Me text file inside".
Then, place the files that the "Read Me" says that you need to put in your Windows\Systme and Windows\Systme32 and inside the Craxtion folder.
Finally, when you have put those files in the respective folders, you need to register the files to the registry one by one.
Hope this works

I don't know what the hell you're doing with all the solution stuff, I just un-rar'd the .rar file and then was able to run craxtion....
To download:
1) Connect to IRC using a program called MIRC (from download.com)
2) Connect to an EFNET server
3) Go to channel #xbins
4) Follow the instructions
5) Download what you need from the FTP site
xIso == bad, use Craxtion with GDFImage

some systems cant run craxtion without it, gives an OCX error.

Oh, my bad on that, I run XP. Actually, thinking back on it, '98 gave me an OCX error on several occasions (like 2), which is the whole reason I upgraded to XP.
To download:

Does anyone know what happened to the Craxtion webpage? It says it doesnt exist on Bestweb...did a search and cant find the page anywhere..thanx to anyone!
