If you have the registration key, just re-install it in your registry. If not, you'll have to buy the software.

Yeah, what Franster said...........
Why did you uninstall it? The directions specifically say to install any new versions, on top of the old (Do NOT uninstall the old version).

I couldnt get this to work. I was using DVD Shrink v 3.2 and I was able to do an analysis.. but when it came time to encode, im stuck at 3% and the error says "DVD Shrink encountered a error and cannot continue. Programming Error - Exception Occured"

@Strange24..........
DVD Shrink can't do it by itself, because of the newer copy protections. You'll notice that the ones that said they did it with Shrink, also had AnyDVD running in the background.......
You can get a 21 day free trial of AnyDVD here: http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
You get free lifetime updates for it. It's worth every penny that it costs, once the trial is up. If you want to buy, buy the key from Slysoft (this download site). If you get a key from eBay, it won't work long, if at all, and Slysoft won't support it then.
Good luck!

Hi JVC,
I downloaded AnyDVD but unfortunately i had to return the movie. I did an image of the DVD on my harddrive. and I can watch it on my PC yet when i try to run DVD Shrink.. obviously the 3% crap out is happening... is there a way to be able to shrink it from the DVD-9 thats on my HD to a DVD-5?? or do i have to get the movie all over again and attempt it with AnyDVD and dvdshrink?

You can also download a 21 day free trial of CloneDVD from the same place you got AnyDVD, and try it. I've not found a movie that these two together, can't handle. Of course, it probably won't work now that I've said that. :o)
Occaisionally, you'll find a movie that Shrink won't do, even with AnyDVD. Rare, but does happen. That's when I break out CloneDVD. Give it a try.
Good luck!

Or, just run the contents through FixVTS, then shrink it. When DVD Shrink crashes, it's usually due to a compliance issue - FixVTS corrects that.
