Hello everyone,

Newbie here ... usually I look at all the threads and find a solution to my dvd problems, if any. So, any help on this one is greatly appreciated.

I was trying to backup Disney's Aladdin (Special Edition). I ran it through DVDFab Decrypter, which took 5 hours!! Then, I "process all" through VobBlanker. After, I used DVD Shrink where it gave me an error message of: "Failed to read file: "C:\...\VTS_06_3.VOB" Invalid access to memory location". I went back to VobBlanker and blanked that section but it still gives me the same message when I go back to use DVD Shrink. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

RipIt4Me will do all Disney movies.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

You can also download the 21 day free trial of AnyDVD, and use it with DVD Shrink. They will do Disney movies also. I've not had any trouble doing any Disney movie. You can get AnyDVD here: http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

You can get guides here, in case you need one:

Good luck!

hi there
ok, what was the reason you ran it through VobBlanker in the first place? did you go in to remove FBI/trailers? if not, IMO it was a redundant step.

ok, next, dvdfab has never failed to cut through protection for me yet, in over 100+ rips. however, if it took 5 hours, it is probably a problem with your DVD itself. Even on the newest movies with the latest protection, dvdfab shouldn't take more than 30-45 min in my experience. Is this Aladdin disc scratched up?
