Playing European games on an American PS2.

I am afraid that Taito Legends 2 will not see an American release. I really want to own it and am thinking of picking up the European release of the game. I need to know a few things before I buy it.

1.) Does the fact that European games are made to work on PAL tv sets make importing European games for use on an American PS2 (and RTSC tv set) unfeasable?

2.) I use Swap Magic to play my imports. I know that isn't a question, but that is the method I use to circumvent region lockouts.

3.) Does anyone know if Taito Legends 2 will see an American release. I am getting nowhere finding out information and I figure they would have announced it by now if it was coming out here.

Searching the forums would of answered your 1st 2 questions;

1. Patch the PAL game to NTSC, use forum search for 'PAL2NTSC' or see A2 below.
2. Then use Swap Magic's Video Mode function.
3. No idea. Try ign.com or gamefaqs.com for release info for NTSC/UC
