I bought Swap Magic 3 Plus with tbe fliptop case mod for my PS2, works amazingly, loads all my backups flawlessly, plays them even better.

One problem though.

For some reaspn something is causing the case top to buldge in the corner, or lightly lifted up, pushing down doesn't help, screwing tight doesn't make it go away so something is in the way and not fitting properly, this is over the switch area with the green/red and blue light.

Anybody know whats causing it so I can fix this annoying problem? When the top isn't even it causes the thing that spins the disk to slide and do nothing much make a loud noise as it scrapes along the underside (thankfully not where the info is)

I put a red brick ontop right now though lol, seems to hold it down for the time being, but tats sort of embarassing and retarded since it should be working without the need of a brick to make it spin....lol.

Remove the fliptop & try re-installing it, paying particular attention to that corner of it to see where the problem lies. May just be a bad fit by you originally.

its definatly the switch, it doesn't seem to be fitting on the thing that holds the switch because it just pops back up if you push hard on it and the buttons get jammed up against the hole the come out fo and they don't press in, how would i correct that?

It could also be the reset\power button cable, you might want to tape those to the fliptop case,so you can get a smoother fit.

Are you sure you bought the correct version flip top? Some versions of PS2 are a little different and require a different flip top. Perhaps you bought the wrong version and that's why it isn't fitting properly.
