Hi Guys,
Sorry for all the questions..

But I found this article

It says the new 360's have a new DVD samsung drive [ms28] in them and thay have problems with mtkflash, in the article it goes on to soldering on the circut boards.

To be honest if its going to have to have soldering done I fear I will not try this and would like to ask you guys if im reading properly?

If I have a ms28 do i need to solder or does the new Extreme V3.3 mod patch fix this problem?

Is there a way I can tell what samsung drive I have?

I've been wondering about this also, I've looked around and havent noticed any specific answers.
I'm concidering getting an Xbox360 tommorow. Is there anyway to tell if the drive is ms25 or ms28 without taking the system apart? The soldering, ading switches and other talk is a bit out of my league.

Also, are the new ms28 drives only in the US or have they began to ship to the UK aswell?
