Hey, i've been thinking about buying HD-Advance and hard drive.
And to the questions.
1.Can i play NTSC/JAP games by loading them from the hard drive, without modding my ps2? My ps2 is PAL.
2.Also, how can i install iso from pc to ps2 hard drive to play em in my ps2 thro HDD?

santana22 answered the question of how to get the games on the hard drive. As for if you can play NTSC games from your PAL system off the Hard Drive, I don't think you can do it without a mod-chip. Even if you can load NTSC games onto your hard drive, without the mod chip your system might not be able to display the games correctly on your TV.

I just bought hdadvance 3.0 and was lokking at the instructions to ripp the game to your hdd. It said something like load hd advance once it boots hit to convert game and make the switch and your game is stored on hdd, is that true or there is more to it? Thanks

Noamos: Congratulations, you are in charge of figuring out whether NTSC, JAP, and PAL games can be played on different region-coded PS2s, when used with a hard drive and HDA3. Seriously though, you are in the position to be able to settle this debate. Try it out, and let us know what happens!

tcb: Could you also try out a Jap-region game? It would be less complex than PAL/NTSC since Japan and America have compatible specs on their TVs. The only factor that would cause a Jap game not to play for you would be that the region lockout affects games even on a harddrive.
