Hi all...

I have an mpeg i downloaded and it plays fine when watching it... but when i want to cut it or open it in virtual dub i get the error .. "MPEG import filter : pack synchronization error".... anyone know what this is and how i can fix it if it is possible?

please help... its driving me crazy..

It's very likely an MPEG-2 file and VirtualDub doesn't support it. And there's no use to try to cut MPEG-1 files either with VirtualDub since it can't save MPEG-1 files (AFAIK).
