I have been following the guide from this site to rip my first dvd - the guide is at http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/copy_dvd_to_xvid.cfm

anyway, it gets to using the SECOND virtual dub mod and then to add the audio but there is no menu called audio so I am left with a 1.5 gig video file and a .5 gig audio file and 5 gigs of dvd info on my HD... Somepne PLEASE help me make a movie...It shouldnt take over 10 hours to turn a dvd into a movie?? isnt there an EASY way where you dont have to use 50 programs and a full day or processing power on a 2 gighrtz machine ??? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

I'm assuming that you have followed the guide.
You can add audio stream at menu STREAM/STREAM_LIST and then by clicking ADD you can select audio stream.
At OPTIONS/PREFERENCES/AUDIO you can set audio preload if needed.

BTW That 10h time consumption is quite normal...

I get to using xvids second pass in vdub and it says error....... I follow the guide exactly but I keep getting error.

my copy of virtualdubmod DOES NOT have an audio menu anywhre in it !! Help!!

batch job box on both the first and second pass?

I do not have a streams menu... I wish I could attach a pic but I cant. I d\simply do not have an audio menu or option anywhere in it... and yes I checked the batch job and it gives me an error everytime I do it in batch mode so I have to do it manually...
