Ok guys, bear with me cos this has got me stumped.

Im trying to get my playstation online. Im living in uni halls and my internet service provider is CAT (Cablecom). I've tried hooking the playstation directly into the wall, but because it has a different MAC address to that which is registered with the ISP, it wouldnt work.
So now im trying Internet Connection Sharing. I have a crossover cable connecting my PS2 to my PC, and a Straight-through cable connecting my PC to the wall socket. ICS is set up and everything seems good to go.

However, when I use the Network Access Disk, the diagnostic test always fails on both the Ping Test and the Traceroute test, suggesting that no information is being sent back to the PS2.

I thought about setting up a bridge instead of ICS, but the bridge operates using its own MAC address, which will be different to the one I have registered.

My PS2 is configured for auto-DNS and auto DHCP.

Any Ideas??
