when i install the dvd into the drive, shrink says no disc.checked drive does not reconize the dvd.i have to eject and load any software disc in drive then it reconizes that disc hit eject from rt
click then reload dvd works ok. any thought?

had the same problem. I went to the device manager and disabled the dvd drive, then enabled the drive. Everything worked ok after that.
Not sure if it means anything or not but the problem started while trying to back up basic instinct 2.

hi can anyone plse help me i try and download all my dvd viseos into my hard drive. i also download the pictures.
now when ever i copy a cd or a dvd it can not play on any dvd player.
it can play on the computer.
on the other hand all the videos that i take on the camcoder which has a mini dvd this dvd plays on any dvd player
can anyone help me here i live in kenya and no good tecnicians or service
