hi. ive got aol platinum. currently i have a filter on my phoneline, a dsl cable going from there to the wireless router, then a ethernet cable from the wireless router to my pc. where do i connect the ps2? (both my pc and wireless router only have 1 ethernet port)

well, I don't think what you have is a wireless router but it maybe a dsl modem/wireless router in one (and I don't know if those usually have more then 1 port or not) or it may just be a dsl modem in which case you could do one of 4 things

1) connect the ethernet cord directly to the ps2 instead of the pc:

I don't know if this will work 100% with aol since they have the login thing

2) get a router (that is if the "wireless router" you mention is only a dsl modem):

They're pretty cheap now so you'd pretty much just setup the router and plug in the PC in 1 port and the ps2 in another port

3)get a 2nd network card and use ICS in windows:

You'd setup ICS in windows and you'd connect the ps2 to the second network card with a crossover cable.

4) get a wirless gaming adapter (if what you have is actually a dsl modem/wireless router in 1):

You use this to just connect wirelessly to the router and go online from there
