Is it possible to charge the wireless controller with a PC USB port instead of plugging it into the XBOX 360?

Well since you can use a corded Xbox 360 controller on your computer and I can charge my Ipod on my Xbox 360 then I believe you can.

I don't reccommend getting this play and charge kit though:

All it does is feed power to your controller and doesnt charge them as you play so you still need to use a real wall-charger or get regular batteries. But on the other hand, You can play with no batteries because it feeds the power from the 360 itself.

I still dont reccommend it though
