Hi, I will like to use the option file for pro soccer 5 using the Watson V4.0 one found here:

Is there a way to do this using none of the tools he has listed such as the Max drive or X-port?

The only other way is with a flash drive & a cheat device that uses them, such as AR MAX or Codebreaker.

Have you tried this? I use a CD and copy the file to the memory card. On the first part if you haven't got an NPO file convert your downloaded BIN file to an NPO using PS2 save builder and follow instructions. I've just used it on Winning Eleven 10 (Pro Evolution 6)
