While using the slide trick i accidently broke the pin that it hooks on to..now the tray wont open so i took the case off..i was wondering if i can just put a round hole in the top of the dvd drive and use that as an alternative to the flip top..when im not using it i could cover it with something?

nope that wont work because if u just leave the cd in there and the ps2 open once it starts spinning itll pop rite out of the dvd drive.... i saw a tutorial online b4 that teaches u how to make ur own flip top try looking around on the web like on this site or google and u should find a tutorial on that

couldnt i leave the ps2 off while i put the disc in and then put the cd cover with that spindle thing on top of it and then turn the ps2 on and it should be fine??
