duo2gt giving red "please insert ps2 disk" error

Over the past two days, I have been having a problem with a Duo2GT modchip bought from www.mod-chip.com I have installed it in two different v4 PS2s, and they both give me the same errors. Whenever I play a DVD movie, the screen is all distorted, and two flickering "copies" of the movie are displayed. Whenever I play a backup ps2 game, it gives me a red "please insert ps2 disk blah" error. The LED installed indicates the ps2 is installed correctly (orange light?)
Help please!

There is a defect with the chip or if you havent solderd it properly but i doubt it do you have warranty on it if you do change it a duo2gt isnt the best chip in terms of reliability and quality if you do exchange it change it for like a matrix infinity or a dmse4 pro but the dmse will only work in slim ps2 so inity is the best
