I have a Nokia 6230i locked to Orange Uk the IMEI is

355386007584372

I would like to put a 3UK sim card in. Is this possible?

I can unlock your mobile for you but a 3G sim will not work in a 2G phone.

I c.... So its basically useless??? I am going to have to buy a 3G handset to use in it. That doesn't sound good!!! If u can unlock it I'll be grateful tho, cheers

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)

Yes, you will need another sim like Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2 etc...then the code will work :)

It just says code error. Thats it. I tried without sim card and it reported cannot undo restriction.
Its wearin thin!!!
I'll c if wor lass has an old 3 phone going spare??
Seems me only hope now doesn't it.......

When you get that message it means you have used all your attempts at unlocking the phone. You will have to send/take it to a professional unlocker / shop.

You should only try the codes we give once and once only!!!
