how or where do i DL way of changinging my windows colors but keeping the feel and look of the new windows ? i noticed alot of people who posted thie screen pics looks wayyyy diff from mine how do i change my looks?
There are quite a few ways to do this. At CrystalXP.net you can download
Bricopacks that will chage the look of windows, icons, toolbars, as well as different animation effects and it's free.
If you chose to install one of the Bricopacks, make sure that you install it in Safe Mode and restart your computer. This is to prevent your antivirus and other monitoring programs from messing up the installation. You can only install one at a time, so if you want to use a different one, first uninstall it in Safe Mode then restart your computer, and install a new one. I currently use Crystal Clear and I love the way it looks.
You can also try WindowBlinds. It changes the look of your Windows Deskop by applying visual styles to your entire Windows environment. Unfortunately, it's not free, but it has a trial period, I think of 30 days.
I'm sure there are some more ways to change the look of Windows, these are the ways I have tryed, but feel free to try others when you find them (as long as they are safe).
