is it possible to make a playable backup of a 360 game, or is the encryption to strong still?

what do i need to do something like this, and how much is it going to cost to get the dual layer burner and stuff? is it easy to do? can someone w/o any comp knowledge do it?

The recommended dl burner is a pioneer 111d. It burns great and it's cheap. If you don't have much computer knowledge, you might struggle through flashing your 360's drive. It's not a long process but it will be necessary to open your pc.

when you say "open your pc" do you mean just taking the cover off it and installing a new driver, kinda like adding ram? is there a guide that is simple enough that i could follow it w/o damaging my xbox? and do you need to flash the xbox everytime you want to use it or just once so it will play that backups?

Once you flash the drive you can play as many backups on it as you want without having to reflash it.
