Well I just got swap magic and the flip case, and all works, the game starts up, everything is going, but there is one problem, the bottom of the screen is cut off.
for example;
------
screen
screen
screen
------
cut off
I need to be able to see the cut off part of the screen, because the game I got sent over from Australia is AFL 2006 and it has accuracy meters and power meters, and the score, all the stuff you NEED to be able to see, so right now the game is unplayable. I did try it on another television but to the same result, unfortunatly I have no other imported games to try out on it.
Thanks if anyone can help.

I couldn't find any settings about changing the screen size in the game or on the tv, and all other games work fine just the swap magic isn't...
Thanks for the help though. 8-)

I'm guessing you're already booting up in NTSC mode with swap magic (or you wouldn't be able to see the screen). The only other thing I can think of that might work is to make an ISO of the game and patching it with a pal2ntsc patcher with Y-Fix. (I say might because this doesn't work 100% of the time)

Thanks, I am new to all this, I just got the Y-FIX, but can you tell me a program that will make the game an ISO? I will look on google now, should find something.

Okay downloaded both the programs and installed, so now just have to get some DVD-RW discs, I only have +RW and tried to do a "backup" and it couldn't read it, so will wait for some discs, thanks for the help.

I burnt a game to DVD-R disc, like I read that I should (not DVD+RW) and burnt it at 1x, I put swap magic in switched it, and it said "not a valid PS2 disc". Did I do anything wrong? should it be working?

burning too slow can create issues just as burning too fast can. what media did you use, i.e. verbatim, ritek, taiyo yuden, crap media? did you use the slide card, and if so, did you use it properly?

lol So I should burn at 2,3 or 4? or even higher?
There was only two types of DVD-R's there, so I got the more expensive ones which were Maxell I think the name is, do I need better ones?
I have the flip top, so I don't think you can stuff up there.

burn at half the rating of the media you're using. was the maxell stamped "made in japan" or "made in taiwan". better yet, what is its media code? are you following the fliptop directions perfectly?
