I have DVD Decrypter version 3.5.4.0. I was wondering what are the best settings for making dvd backups for my ps2. What did you guys change from the default settings ? Also can I change the book type in DVD Decrypter if I have this dvdwriter:

Settings don't need to be changed, and you only need to booktype if you use DVD+R, which you do in one of the tabs in DVDecrypter. If your burner supports it, then the prog will let you do it.
If in doubt, use DVD-R. Those don't need booktyped & every PS2 will read -R. Some have problems with +R.
Just make sure you use a good quality DVD-R, such as RITEK G05 8x DVD-R.

I've read somewhere in the forums it's better if I use ASPI instead of SPTI for interface in the I/O tab and also that I should check the "ignore read errors" checkbox. Also the manufacturer of my dvdwriter does not appear on any of those book type tabs...can I still change the book type ? I tried to run a backup of And 1 Streetball and it doesn't work, but some others games worked just fine with default settings. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R 8x media. Thanks
