Alright ive been reading the topic Ps2 and how to burn the games.I Personally tell every one your doing way to much work to burn a game.First Why do u need a Mod chip. Why do u need to do any modifcations to your Ps2? You dont If they can burn the Game to a disk u also can burn it to a disk. Ive been burning Dvd's for along time and we use to not be able to burn them because of incription but now were by passing everything on the market.Personally either there is not very many skilled hackers for ps2 or xbox or no one has a clue of what there talking about... I can understand if its the way the cds are being burn - backwords .and dvd burners burn forewords this i understand but.If you guys have found away to get them to work there has got to be away to burn them the exact way.Im surprised Dvd burners are not building Foreword and reverse dvd burning Rippers now.

the psp reads the real disks by the signature on the back....burning doesent matter,...

thats why they make mods and swap magic....

You really have no clue what you're talking about, Access_, do you?

Real store bought games are pressed, NOT burnt. Upon pressing, certain boot code data is imprinted into the disc, which tells the PS2 it's a legitimate disc (same with XBox), and cannot be copied in anyway, or burnt to a blank disc.
Hence the need for a chip, or Swap Magic, which replaces the boot info prior to loading up a burnt disc.
It has nothing to do with burning forwards or backwards, and the only way to get the boot info onto a disc would be to have a disc pressing machine at the cost of thousands of $/£'s.
