Hi I Have Backed Up My Copy Of Reservoir Dogs Using The Same Process I Have Used Time After Time On A Sony DVD-R And Tried To Play It Using My Swap Magic But For Some Reason It Says I Have A Invalid PS2 Disc This Is The Only Game I Get This Message On Does Anyone Know What Has Caused This Do I Need To Insert A Patch Or Something. Any Info Would By Much Appriciated Thanks

No patch needed, it works fine with SM.
This type of problem usually occurs if you use bad media/bad batch of media, or have a bad burn/burn too fast.

You have to use Zone Loader.

From a post made by boobooman:

ok zoneloader is just like a another swap magic its free to download you just need to register

go to www.swapmagicfix.com and you will see it there click on the link will take you to another site you will need to reister then d/l file is less 1mb extract like anyother using WinRAR burn the iso (its about 1.5 gig)

load swap magic
rather than putting game in put zone loader in
when its loaded insert gaame
press x or NTSC i think you press square not sure
done game should now be loading
it has very quick loading times so if its slow its your media or ps2 just to clear that up!!!!'

It shouldn't need ZoneLoader. Mine boots fine with SM2.0
Don't believe everything you read at ps2nfo.

EDIT: In fact, you'd be better off not believing ANYTHING from ps2nfo! lol.

Ok Thanks Alot I Have Tried It Again My Media Is Fine I Have Over 50 Back Ups On This Sony Media All Work Fine And I Always Burn On The Slowest Setting Again All Worked Fine. I Have Downloaded This ZoneLoader And It Loads And Works Fine With That Just A Big Hassle Loading Swap Magic Up The Zoneloader Then Game Does Anyone Know How To Combat This. @ Ace1uk I Have The Newer Swap Magic 3.6 I Think It Is How Did You Get Yours To Load Straight From The SM Disc's.

Same way as you get any game to load with just the SM disc, but then I use RITEK G05, which is (in my opinion) the best media for PS2 games. I also use SM2.0, so your 3.6 should be able to load it straight off too.

I have sm 3.6 and had to use zoneloader to boot, so I would suggest getting it just in case.

hi, does anyone know a link to download swap magic 2.0. that way i can boot the Sm 2.0 with my SM3.6 and the game will load :D
i have tried zone loader and it just hangs before the training level. any help will be great thanks
