hello every one
i have a movie i downloaded online it took me about tree hours to download!!! so please help me!!!
its a .avi file but when when i try to play it i only get the sound of the acctual movie
What can i do?

What program are you using to play the Files. Sounds like you might be missing a Video codec

am using Winamp and any other program i use happens the same thing i hear the movie playing but i dont see anything it is playing it like it was a music file o something

now do you happen to know how to convert AVI to vod so i can burn it to a DVD-R

well this is a DVD Shrink forum for using DVD Shrink to backup movies, that we bought or own, if you are having trouble with the movie that you downloaded from some site on the internet you might want to get a hold of the site that you downloaded the movie from and tell them you would like your money back or have them let you redownload the movie because there is something wrong with the movie, one of the best converters for AVI to dvd is vso"s convertxtodvd you can download a trial of this program for 21 days but it leaves a watermark on the product you make untill you buy the program, hope that helps good luck happy burning have a nice day
