RIPPING A DATA DVD9

I am trying to rip a data dvd9 and compress it to a dvd5 but with no luck! I have ripped several videos using DVD Decrypter then using Instant Copy to burn! Never made a coaster yet! Maybe luck! Burner is a Pioneer DVR 105. If I change the pdi file to an iso it becomes a winrar file. HUH? GRRRRRR! Fixing to go Mediveal! Please help!?! sincerely, David

With Data DVD-9 Discs i have never had to rip them. I just read the disc in Nero and extracted what i wanted and left the rest. If you want it all, extract it all to the hard drive and put it on two discs.
